Brave New Lanvin

The Spring 07 Lanvin show is looking better by the minute as we inch closer to the season. His subtle version of high-tech gleam and glamour suddenly seem oh-so 2007. And while Alber Elbaz certainly wasn't the only designer having a Space Odyssey moment - his was clearly more graceful than most. What does this mean for those girls that may not be sprinting to their local Barney's for a future-fix? Satin mini-dresses and anything you can find with some shine!

I watched the show on fashionTV, and I really really loved it. Lanvin always manages to make wonderful mini-dresses. I also liked the ones with printed retro faces on it, it looked cool.

To Whom It May Concern,

We saw your blog and are interested in pitching an idea. There was no contact information on your site that I could find and I was wondering if you could give me the name and email address of who best to speak with about this. Thank you.

I love the ad campaigns Lanvin has been doing lately, but sometimes the pieces can look a bit too.. plain? Lanvin concentrates too much on the cut and forgets the detailing.

That Chloé bag that you "always" have on the right side of your blog, do you know where I can finde it? /Sophie♥

Hi Sophie...it's from their Spring 07 collection so unless you got some serious hook-ups...you probably won't find it instores until Feb? Until you can drool over it like me at: http://chloe.com/version_en/index.html :) Enjoy.

I love the futurism trend for the spring collections this year! While Balenciaga and Hussein Chalayan went all out, I think Lanvin had a good balance between glamour and high tech as well.

Sophie! I lied- it's from the resort line and I saw it today at my local "Holt's" (Canadian answer to Bergdorfs)...was stuck drooling over the shoes and bag!!! What's a girl to do so early in the season??
