Parka Power
I'm having a bit of a "parka moment" right now. After spotting a few on the spring and fall runways, I finally found a great one at H&M (of all places). And apparently the girl below (as photogrpahed by The Sart) was feeling the same. I'm only slightly jealous that she found hers in soft dove grey, whilst mine is khaki. If you're ready to splurge - Marni's is lovely - as is the one by Narciso Rodriguez. Ya you heard me right...Narciso Rodriguez! Is the parka the new dress? You've got to wonder...

parka'a are so patical as the keep the rain out and they are warm and the look good.
Wow, the h&m one looks really fantastic. I love the idea of tough, masculine parkas combined with girly details such as dark tights and very high heels, like on this picture : http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=4pd07ed
There's also a really nice on at The Gap. Well, there was, I don't know if they still have it, considering it's nearing summer.
I can't help it, but I just don't like the parka that much. All right, I have to admit that that 'Parka girl' is wearing a lovely one..
I just recently found this one by See By Chloe and really like it ... am still pondering about spending about 300€ for it...
the Marni parka is awesome, but it's been soldout for awhile--it's actually last season. Do you know where I can find one? :)
