I Wanna be a ROBOT
I just returned from 4 days in LA, and all I have to say is if I see one more maxi dress I might puke. I arrived back in time however to see the refreshing images of Alexander Mcqueen's resort collection. And honestly - LA could use a little dose of structure. All those sloppy knits truly do nothing for a ladies physique. So what is it about Mcqueen's latest venture? Square shoulders (obvious references but that's ok), mixing bold black with the newest neutral du jour (nude) and a dose of fluorescent on top. I'm telling you - structure ladies, structure!

I wanna be a robot who wears that MONOKINI on the end. Sigh, if only....
as an LA girl, i must say, it's not our fault!!! i search for endless hours for fitted, structured dresses, jackets, you name it, to no avail! hopefully there will be some changes to this horrible look come fall, or else i'll be forced to wear clothes from two seasons ago. *sigh*
i think i might actually need that skinny hot pink/nude pair of pants....
ps - bought skinny leather pants for the stores
