Slave to the Shoe
In case you hadn't already spied Rumi's enviable, current shoe collection - I added it here. For some reason I am currently in a shoe drought. Meaning - I'm really having a hard time finding shoes I want to buy (besides the $995 Martin Margeila booties I spotted in Liberty's while in London). I know this sounds ridiculous, but I'm looking for the perfect shoe/boot combo perhaps lace-up, certainly somewhat mean-looking. This elusive pair still escapes me - so meantime I dig up last years booties (still good) and stretch my summer foot wear into fall. Tips, leads??

surprisingly enough, seychelles makes a great lace-up bootie that's tough and cute at the same time. i just bought a pair and will be posting pictures soon.
i personally love rumi's black chloe docts (froom yoox.com, i think) and the emma cook for topshop boots on erin wasson. both are laceup
