Bike On!
Montreal is currently having a bit of a love affair with the bicycle. In classic Euro style it has recently installed approximately 3,000 Bixi bikes around the city and they've taken to tearing up streets left, right and centre in order to add bike lanes. (Montreal loves tearing up streets). Similar to the "Velib" in Paris, it is a share program aimed at getting more people on bikes. I myself am similarly smitten, and have taken to the Bixi like a bee-to-honey. Favorite time to ride - perhaps at 3am after a few drinks in heels and a mini - but no matter. What really matters is (bien sur) - bike style! Of course Copenhagen does it best so what better place to look for inspiration...

i am so jealous! i dont even have a bike.
Oh lord don't remind me!
My French A Level reading paper was on the Velib & it wasn't pretty!
I was lucky at actually having seen them on the streets in Paris, but some of my class mates weren't so fortunate.

That's awesome that Montreal has provided the bikes for use, what a great initiative.
I love how those girls look fabulous on their bikes (and the bikes themselves are fab!!). All I see here are people on ugly mountain bikes with one pant leg rolled up and tacky sportswear.

I'd ride bikes more, but the mosquitoes kill me every summer! (stupid winnipeg!)
plus my bike is hideous. silver and sporty! i wish it were blue and vintage:(
I love to bike but my bike isn't nearly as cute as these. I suppose its more athletic and heavy duty. Also, I'm always in a helmet, which is a no no for all cute hair dos but good for safety.
This is such a great idea! I wish Toronto would do the same.
