I know I said I wasn't going to blog whilst on vacay... but at the last minute I threw in my Macbook in my Miu Miu and boarded the plane. And on a rare cloudy morning in the S. of France, I decided to say hi.

I don't know why I but this summer more that any I seem to be loving summer-time BLACK. Of course I'm like you in that black is toujours a uniform... but normally I wear a little less in the summer opting to sport my mini-tan with something a little more well - summery? Therefore, loving the is all black spread for August Paris Vogue inspired by Debbie Harry. There are too many great new Fall accessories out there. I'm slightly overwhelmed by the options. One thing for sure though - studded Isabel Marant booties will be mine!!!

PS. How much do you love the blond bob??? So fresh after too many Wasson layers? Hmmm.

Far Away

I'm enamored with these Nippon Vogue postcards by Ruben Toledo - because they seem to perfectly capture those far-away "fashion moments". Whenever I'm somewhere exotic I try to remember that my purchases may not translate to the 'everyday'. However, when you're in the middle of the market with the smells, sounds and sights filling your every sense - something are to good to pass up! I restrained myself in Morocco... only bringing home one serious silver bracelet. It's the heaviest piece of jewelry I own! Love it.

Going, Going, Gone

O Dearest Glossy Ones,

Apologies for being the worst kind of blogger, (I'm in, I'm out... sporadic blogging... lazy posts lol you know the type) but I'm taking off again. I'm in desperate need of some sun, wine and family so what better place to go but the South of France. Yes it's as fantastic as it sounds. And yes I will miss you all dearly. See you in 10 days!

Catherine McNeil + Thigh High Boots = Lust

Vogue Germany - shot by Patrick Demarchelier featuring Catherine MacNeil. Styling is mean and dark - just how I like it. Not to mention, the #1 item on my Fall shopping list is some serious thigh high black leather boots that preferably don't look like hooker boots? This might sound like a tall order - but I'm trying to avoid combo-ing that much leather with a spike heel. Help?

Tee's Please

The night I met my BF (9 years ago!) I was wearing a vintage Metallica t-shirt. It happened to be hot pink with some DIY studs and I like to think that that was part of the appeal. I've never really stopped appreciating the perfect vintage tee - logo or no logo; however, I'm feeling a resurgence coming on. And really, what goes better with a statement blazer (read shoulders!) than the perfect tee? Lust = Christopher Kane. For reals I'm wanting some chimp action. You?
